TOPIC:  IF YOU CAN DEAL WITH FEAR

Fear is  faith blocker

Over 80% of lack of healing miracles n ever manner of victory and success stem from fear.

God is faith, satan is fear

Either of them draws like magnet.

Job 3:25-26(NLT) 25 What I always feared has happened to me.I dreaded has come true26  I have no peace, no quietness. I have no rest; only trouble comes.

Search your heart before you pray.  prayers  faith should handle. God is against  fear.

Heb 11:6 ()6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

If I should hide iniquity in my heart, fear is iniquity.

Ps 66:18 (KJV)18 If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:

Fear considers many things negative , if you walk by sight.

Matt 14:28-32     (KJV)28 And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water.29 And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.31 And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?

Most times, before the sick is healed, the spirit of fear must be cast our

Fear says it is impossible to get healed of this sickness but faith says yes.

By high powered prophetic instinct, Jesus said to Jarius  ‘ Don’t be afraid”

Mark 5:35-42 (KJV)35 While he yet spake, there came from the ruler of the synagogue’s house certain which said, Thy daughter is dead: why troublest thou the Master any further?36 As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.37 And he suffered no man to follow him, save Peter, and James, and John the brother of James.38 And he cometh to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and seeth the tumult, and them that wept and wailed greatly.39 And when he was come in, he saith unto them, Why make ye this ado, and weep? the damsel is not dead, but sleepeth.40 And they laughed him to scorn. But when he had put them all out, he taketh the father and the mother of the damsel, and them that were with him, and entereth in where the damsel was lying.41 And he took the damsel by the hand, and said unto her, Talitha cumi; which is, being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee, arise.42 And straightway the damsel arose, and walked; for she was of the age of twelve years. And they were astonished with a great astonishment

Jesus said to Martha only believe – John 11:21-27(KJV)21 Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.22 But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee.23 Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again.24 Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?27 She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God

If you can believe.

Mark 9:23-27(KJV)23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.24 And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.25 When Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him.26 And the spirit cried, and rent him sore, and came out of him: and he was as one dead; insomuch that many said, He is dead.27 But Jesus took him by the hand, and lifted him up; and he arose

Fear has been the root of unbelief .

Mark 11:22-24(NLT)22 Then Jesus said to the disciples, “Have faith in God. 23 I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart. 24 I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours.

You have suffered so much under this sickness, so much that you cannot deliver yourself from the bondage of negative thoughts .

Do you believe I am able to this?

Matt 9:28-30(NLT)28 They went right into the house where he was staying, and Jesus asked them, “Do you believe I can make you see?” “Yes, Lord,” they told him, “we do.”29 Then he touched their eyes and said, “Because of your faith, it will happen.” 30 Then their eyes were opened, and they could see!

Fear is a torment  – 1 John 4:18(KJV)18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

It has prevented you from moving forward and taking decision that should help your life.

He that loses his life for my sake shall gain it – Matt 10:39(KJV)39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it

Faith is a good risk taker.  Good risk in the sense that it is based on the word of God.

Matt 24:35(KJV)35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away

My aim this morning is to deal with fear that has hindered your entrance to the promise land.

Num 13:27-33(KJV)27 And they told him, and said, We came unto the land whither thou sentest us, and surely it floweth with milk and honey; and this is the fruit of it.28 Nevertheless the people be strong that dwell in the land, and the cities are walled, and very great: and moreover we saw the children of Anak there.29 The Amalekites dwell in the land of the south: and the Hittites, and the Jebusites, and the Amorites, dwell in the mountains: and the Canaanites dwell by the sea, and by the coast of Jordan.30 And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.31 But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we.32 And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature.33 And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.

To be entirely free from fear, resign yourself completely to God.

Gal 2:20(KJV)20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Absolute dependency on God removes fear.

Phil 1:21(KJV)21 For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

Ps 11:1(TLB) How dare you tell me, “Flee to the mountains for safety,” when I am trusting in the Lord

As long as God is with us , we don’t mind what the devil is doing.

2 Kings 6:15-17(KJV)15 And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do?16 And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.17 And Elisha prayed, and said, Lord, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.
